Ho amato la calligrafia e il lettering a mano da quando riesco a ricordare. Ho trascorso la mia prima adolescenza perfezionando la mia calligrafia (sono un "nerd" auto-classificato) e imparando ad amare ogni fase del viaggio dell'artista.
Nel 2017, ho iniziato a sperimentare diversi mezzi per la calligrafia e, mentre adoro mettere il pennino al pad Rhodia, mi sono sentito davvero a casa con il mio iPad Pro e Apple Pencil. A Natale 2020, mi sono ramificato e ho iniziato ad accompagnare le mie sceneggiature con illustrazioni.
Quale posto migliore per iniziare se non la mia dolce Salvia, che porta con orgoglio un bastone di caramelle come osso? (Il cane di qualcun altro porta in giro il proprio osso come un trofeo invece di masticarlo?) Ne ho guadagnato così tanta gioia che ho dovuto solo mostrarlo agli altri! Poco dopo, gli amici hanno iniziato a richiedere ritratti dei loro cani e gatti, iniziando quelli che sarebbero diventati i primi progetti per A Little Script! Da quando ha disegnato quegli adorabili furbabies, l'azienda si è espansa in molti altri campi: ritratti di nozze, inviti, gioiosi "Little Reminders", biglietti di auguri per le vacanze e altro ancora.

I’ve loved calligraphy and hand lettering ever since I can remember. I spent my early teenage years perfecting my handwriting (I’m a self-classified “nerd”) and learning to love each step of the artist’s journey.
In 2017, I started experimenting with different mediums for calligraphy, and while I love putting nib to Rhodia pad, I truly felt at home with my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. At Christmas 2020, I branched out and started accompanying my scripts with illustrations.
What a better place to start than my sweet Sage, proudly carrying a candy cane as her bone? (Does anyone else’s dog just carry around their bone as a trophy instead of chewing it?) I gained so much joy from it that I just had to show it to others! Shortly thereafter, friends started requesting portraits of their dogs and cats, starting what would become the first projects for A Little Script! Since drawing those adorable furbabies, the company has expanded into several other fields: wedding portraits, invitations, joyful “Little Reminders”, holiday greeting cards, and more.
