1 out of 5 starsOne star means disappointed, according to Etsy's software. So it's my honest opinion, one star. I ordered 6 skeins, worsted weight. Dyer said 240 yards each. Someone handled these 6 skeins to dye, dry and re-skein them but was unable to tell they were aran weight not worsted. I could tell the first minute that I untwisted a skein. I took a second minute to count the strands and a third minute to calculate the yardage. Only 167 yards. And felted in the dyeing process. Sent a message to dyer who says her supplier must have sent the wrong stuff. But I have to ask: who skeined it, dyed it, blotted out the dye, rinsed it, hung it to dry and re-skeined them to send out but did not notice they were not 240 yards of worsted weight yarn each? hmmm...

I did make a mistake on this order, but I did do everything I could to make it up to the buyer. I was going to give the buyer an additional $20 off the order on top of the discount that I already gave her and give her free shipping. The buyer refused to work with me at all even though she sought me out three times to dye this custom yarn for her. I find it interesting that someone could be so unforgiving in this honest mix up. Furthermore, when I received the yarn back I realized that the skeins were not felted at all! Not only did this buyer not hold up her end of the deal by accepting a new batch of yarn of the appropriate weight, but now she is trying to slander my etsy business. Please do not let this review hinder a yarn purchase. It's lovely to work with and I am very dedicated to my dyeing process.
