Befold fue fundado en 2021 por mí, Stefan Delemarre.
En la búsqueda de una versión de acero de un estante de pared flotante, se me ocurrió la idea de doblar el acero para minimizar el elemento colgante del estante. Después de muchos cálculos y pruebas, descubrí que esta idea se puede realizar y que el concepto se puede expandir a una amplia gama de interiores.
Empezó la aventura y pedí los primeros 100 tablones para probar si funcionaba. Ahora, dos años después, los estantes plegados se encuentran en varias tiendas de Europa y cuelgan de las paredes de las casas de personas de todo el mundo.
Mi misión con befold es ofrecer la gama más amplia posible de productos únicos y sostenibles y hacer posible que tantas personas como sea posible traigan una pieza real del diseño holandés a su hogar.
Befold was founded in 2021 by me, Stefan Delemarre.
In the search for a steel version of a floating wall shelf, I came up with the idea of folding the steel to minimize the hanging element of the shelf. After numerous calculations and tests, I discovered that this idea could be realized and expanded into a wide range of interior products.
The adventure began, and I ordered the first 100 shelves to test if they would catch on. Now, two years later, Befold shelves can be found in various stores across Europe and adorn walls in homes all around the world.
My mission with Befold is to offer a wide range of unique and sustainable products and make it possible for as many people as possible to bring a true piece of Dutch Design into their homes.
