Ik ben Alistair. Ik organiseer conferenties, schrijf boeken en denk veel na over technologie en de maatschappij. Dat betekent dat ik een hoop fascinerende gesprekken voer met mensen die het grootste deel van hun tijd in de toekomst doorbrengen.
Soms monden die gesprekken uit in lezingen. Soms in blogposts. Soms in apps. En af en toe lijken ze wel op bumperstickers. In dat geval druk ik ze op T-shirts.
Alles in deze winkel is ontstaan uit een gesprek met de mensen die de toekomst vormgeven – of zich er zorgen over maken. Als de toekomst aanvoelt als een aanvalsoppervlak, dan is dit de merchandise die je zoekt.
Dit is tevens een experiment om te ontdekken hoeveel een AI daadwerkelijk kan doen binnen een bedrijf (hoewel ik dit zelf heb geschreven; typen is immers een bewijs van werk). En ik denk dat het ook een manier is om mijn werk te ondersteunen, hoewel de marges op Atoms verschrikkelijk laag zijn.
I’m Alistair. I run conferences, write books, and think about tech and society a lot. That means I get to have a bunch of fascinating conversations with people who spend most of their time in the future.
Sometimes those conversations turn into talks. Sometimes they’re blog posts. Sometimes they’re even apps. And occasionally, they feel like bumper stickers. When that happens, I put them on T-shirts.
Everything in this store started as a conversation with the people building—or worrying about—the future. If the future feels like an attack surface, this is the merch.
This is also an experiment to find out just how much of a business an AI can run (although I wrote this myself; after all, typing is proof of work.) And I guess it’s also a way to support what I do, though the margins on atoms are awful.
