Ciao mi chiamo Ariel. AMO il macrame!
Tutto è iniziato quando volevo due appendiabiti da appendere nelle finestre a bovindo della mia cucina. Ho deciso di provare a farne uno invece di andare a comprarlo.
Il primo che ho fatto è stato solo un semplice con 4 pezzi di iuta e 12 nodi regolari. Sono rimasto scioccato da quanto fosse semplice. Volevo imparare qualcosa di più impegnativo. Così ho fatto le mie ricerche e ho imparato a fare sempre più nodi! Prima che ce ne rendessimo conto avevamo appendini per piante e arazzi su quasi tutte le pareti della casa! Non volevo smettere, è diventata una dipendenza. Mi svegliavo nel cuore della notte pensando al prossimo progetto di macrame che stavo per realizzare.
Quello che pensavo non sarebbe mai successo è successo! Mi sono svegliato e sono andato direttamente al macraming (prima del mio caffè!) È così che mi è venuto in mente il nome del mio negozio, Ma prima Macrame.
Le possibilità sono infinite! Ci sono milioni di diversi modelli di macrame da scoprire. Ogni pezzo è unico a modo suo.
I ganci per piante sono sicuramente i miei preferiti per il macrame. Mi piace anche fare arazzi, scaffali e tavoli. A volte ho persino combinato tutto in uno! Una mensola in macramè che può anche essere un tavolo che pende come un appendiabiti per piante ma ha un aspetto arazzo. :)

It all started when I wanted two plant hangers to hang in my kitchen bay windows. I decided to try to make one instead of going to buy it.
The first one I made was just a simple one with 4 pieces of jute and 12 regular knots. I was shocked at how simple it was. I wanted to learn something more challenging. So I did my research and learned how to make more and more knots! Before we knew it we had plant hangers and tapestry's on almost every wall in the house! I did not want to stop, it became an addiction. I would wake up in the middle of the night thinking about the next macrame project I was going to accomplish.
What I thought would never happened happened! I woke up and went straight to macraming (before my coffee!) That's how I came up with my shop name, But First Macrame.
The possibilities are ENDLESS! There are millions of different macrame patterns to be discovered. Each and every piece is unique in its own way.
Plant hangers are definitely my favorite to macrame. I also like to make tapestry's, shelves, and tables. Sometimes I'll even combined it all into one! A macrame shelf that can also be a table that hangs like a plant hanger but has a tapestry look to it. :)
