Al intentar resumir mi "yo" en una presentación breve, me quedé sin palabras. Me llamo Audrey, me jubilé de una entidad financiera tras 39 años y medio en informática, enviudé tras casi 30 años y tengo 3 hijos (una hija y dos hijastros), 8 nietos y 23 bisnietos. Sin embargo, mi pasión es crear. Lo que sea, he tomado clases, comprado un libro instructivo y me he sumergido en ello. Cosí moda (incluso diseñé el vestido de novia de mi hija), decoración del hogar y colchas (tradicionales, de camisetas y conmemorativas), enganché alfombras, bordado a máquina, una cortadora electrónica para vinilo, papel y otros materiales; punto, ganchillo, frivolité; quilling, scrapbooking, fabricación de tarjetas, joyería con hilos especiales, vitrales, y la lista sigue y sigue. Para vender algunos de estos artículos, tengo un negocio desde casa en internet y en Facebook, pero no disfruto del marketing. Sigo apasionada por la creación y Etsy parece ser una opción ideal.

When trying to condense ‘me’ into an elevator pitch I was at a loss. My name is Audrey, I retired from a financial institution after 39 1/2 years in IT, widowed after almost 30 years, claim 3 children (1 daughter and 2 step kids), 8 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. My passion however, is creating. You name it and I have mostly liked taken classes, bought an instructional book and immersed myself in it. Sewing fashion (even created my daughters wedding dress), home dec, and quilts (traditional, T-Shirt & Memory), rug hooking, machine embroidery, an electronic cutter for vinyl, paper, and other materials; knit, crochet, tatting; quilling, scrapbooking, card making, making jewelry with specialty thread and yarn, stain glass and the list goes on and on. As an outlet for some of these items I have a home-based business on the web and on Facebook but I don't enjoy the marketing aspect. I am still passionate about creating and ETSY seems to be an outlet that fits the bill.
