Willkommen bei **Comics And...**, wo der Satz nie ganz zu Ende ist, weil es immer etwas anderes gibt, worüber man sich den Kopf zerbrechen kann.

Ich bin **Dani Soncasie**, Autorin, Comiczeichnerin, staatlich geprüfte Kosmetikerin, Künstlerin aus Leidenschaft, YouTube-Moderatorin und bekennender Super-Nerd. Ich habe Comics And... als Plattform für alle geschaffen, die Comics, Filme, Fernsehen, Fantasy, Science-Fiction, Horror, Mythologie, Make-up, Kunst und all die wunderbaren Welten dazwischen lieben.

Mit anderen Worten: Ich bin ein **konfessionsloser Nerd**. Ich huldige keiner einzigen Geek-Richtung, und ich vermute, du auch nicht.

Comics And... begann als YouTube-Kanal, auf dem ich meine größten Leidenschaften vereinen konnte: Geschichten erzählen, Kunst, Popkultur und hitzige Diskussionen über fiktive Charaktere, als ob deren fragwürdige Lebensentscheidungen uns persönlich beunruhigen würden. Mit der Zeit entwickelte sich dieser Kanal zu einer Community von Gleichgesinnten, liebevoll **Nerdlings** genannt, die verstehen, dass Liebe bedeutet, das Wunderbare daran zu feiern, das Ärgerliche daran zu diskutieren und gelegentlich *„Aber das ergibt doch keinen Sinn!“* vor dem Bildschirm zu rufen.

Dieser Etsy-Shop ist eine Erweiterung dieser Welt.

Jedes Design hier ist für Menschen geschaffen, die ihre Leidenschaft für Comics mit Stolz zur Schau tragen, egal ob Comic-Historiker, Fantasy-Fan, Horror-Liebhaber, Filmfan, Gamer, Trekkie, Whovian, Superhelden-Fan oder jemand, dessen Leidenschaft sich einfach nicht in einer einzigen Kategorie einordnen lässt.

Weil keiner von beiden Bergbau betreiben kann.

Ich bin außerdem Autorin und Schöpferin von **Veiled Legacy**, einem übernatürlichen Horror-Comic, der auf einem Roman basiert, den ich ursprünglich 2006 geschrieben habe. Es ist eine Geschichte voller Vampire, antiker Mythologie, Geheimbünde, Familientragödien, übernatürlicher Kräfte und einer Heldin mit Behinderung, die sich weigert, sich von ihrem Verlust definieren zu lassen. Nachdem ich das Medium Comics mein Leben lang geliebt habe, ist die Arbeit an meinem eigenen Comic für mich noch persönlicher geworden. Ich erzähle nicht mehr nur Geschichten. Ich erschaffe meine eigenen Welten.

Die Designs in diesem Shop spiegeln denselben kreativen Geist wider: kühn, farbenfroh, ein bisschen rebellisch, manchmal albern und stolz nerdig. Es geht darum, Dinge zu erschaffen, die sich wie ein Insiderwitz, ein Schlachtruf, ein Fandom-Abzeichen oder ein geheimer Handschlag zwischen Menschen anfühlen, die verstehen, dass es beim Nerdsein nicht darum geht, *was* man liebt.

Es geht darum, wie herrlich und ungeniert du es liebst.

## Our Story: Where Comics, Creativity & a Little Chaos Collide

Welcome to **Comics And...**, where the sentence is never quite finished because there's always something else worth obsessing over.

I'm **Dani Soncasie**, an author, comic creator, licensed cosmetologist, lifelong artist, YouTube host, and Registered Super-Nerd. I created Comics And... as a home for people who love comics, movies, television, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, mythology, makeup, art, and all the glorious rabbit holes in between.

In other words, I'm a **Nondenominational Nerd**. I don't worship at just one altar of geekdom, and I suspect you don't either.

Comics And... began as a YouTube channel where I could combine the things I love most: storytelling, art, pop culture, and having spirited conversations about fictional people as though their questionable life choices personally inconvenienced us. Over time, that channel grew into a community of fellow nerds, affectionately known as **Nerdlings**, who understand that loving something means celebrating what makes it wonderful, debating what makes it maddening, and occasionally yelling, *"BUT THAT MAKES NO SENSE!"* at the screen.

This Etsy shop is an extension of that world.

Every design here is created for people who wear their fandom proudly, whether you're a comic-book historian, a fantasy addict, a horror fiend, a movie buff, a gamer, a Trekkie, a Whovian, a superhero obsessive, or someone whose fandom identity simply cannot be contained by a single checkbox.

Because neither can mine.

I'm also the author and creator of **Veiled Legacy**, a supernatural horror comic adapted from a novel I originally wrote in 2006. It's a story filled with vampires, ancient mythology, secret societies, family tragedy, supernatural powers, and a disabled heroine who refuses to be defined by what she's lost. Creating my own comic after spending a lifetime loving the medium has made Comics And... even more personal to me. I'm not only talking about stories anymore. I'm building worlds of my own.
