DHauer Studio is een creatieve praktijk die de relatie tussen vorm, licht en alledaagse objecten onderzoekt.
De studio, die werkt met keramiek en fotografie, richt zich op eenvoudige en tactiele objecten die een gevoel van rust in alledaagse ruimtes brengen. Elk object wordt langzaam en met intentie gevormd, of dat nu door klei, lens of ontwerp gebeurt.
De keramiek is handgemaakt en uniek. Elk stuk vertoont subtiele variaties in glazuur en vorm. De fotografie volgt dezelfde aanpak en legt rustige composities en natuurlijk licht vast in een minimalistische beeldtaal.
In plaats van de verschillende media te scheiden, beschouwt deze studio ze als één doorlopend proces; verschillende manieren om hetzelfde visuele idee uit te drukken.
