Celebrating Human Art
A Dawn General Store é um pequeno sonho que me acompanha há muito tempo. Sempre fui atraído pela autenticidade do feito à mão e agora, mais do que nunca, quero realmente celebrar a arte do artesanato lento.
Por enquanto, a Dawn General Store estará online com uma variedade de cartões comemorativos e gravuras com obras de arte desenhadas e pintadas à mão pela minha avó, Dawn, ao longo da vida. Tenho adaptado cuidadosamente essas obras em peças prontas para impressão como forma de homenagear e compartilhar sua criatividade com o mundo (com a aprovação dela, é claro!).
Com o tempo, adicionarei minha própria arte, obras de outros criadores e, eventualmente, uma seleção de itens domésticos que refletem os mesmos valores de qualidade, simplicidade e artesanato.
A longo prazo, meu sonho é abrir uma loja física que, espero, sirva como um ponto de encontro para criativos e apreciadores dos prazeres simples da vida.
Estou muito feliz em compartilhar essa jornada com vocês.

Dawn General Store is a little dream that’s been with me for a very long time. I’ve always been drawn to the authenticity of handmade, and now more than ever I want to really celebrate the art of slow crafts.
For now, Dawn General Store will be online with a range of greeting cards and prints featuring artwork hand-drawn and painted by my Gran, Dawn, throughout her life. I have been carefully adapting these works into print ready pieces as a way of honouring and sharing her creativity with the world (with her approval of course!)
In time, I’ll be adding my own art, the works of other makers, and eventually a curated selection of household items that reflect the same values of quality, simplicity, and craftsmanship.
Long term, my dream is to open a physical store that will hopefully serve as a meeting place for creatives and appreciators of life's simple pleasures.
