I'm Monika and my passion is the magical world of Waldorf inspired dolls. In my free time when my little son is sleeping, I open myself to the world in which I put my dreams into reality. I feel like a magician or a fairy when a doll baby is made from a piece of soft wool🧚 ♀️✨
The first is always a ball of sheep's fleece. Soft and fluffy, the fleece becomes warm after being rolled into a ball. It smells like magic being created. A new baby is born. Thousands of needle pricks form the doll's face. You can already see the outline of the nose and mouth. After several hours, a Swiss tricot can be put on the head. Now I mold the rest of the body and put the skin on the doll. The eyes are the mirror of the soul, so I carefully choose the color of the mouline threads and start embroidering them. Ecological wax will color the cheeks to give the appearance of blushes to the child.
