Hoi! Mijn naam is Jeroen (typisch Nederlandse naam). Ik ben een striptekenaar/illustrator die in eigen beheer publiceert. Ik probeer de vrolijke sfeer te brengen met mijn werk. Ook al is mijn werk behoorlijk divers (stripboeken, kunstboeken, patches, zeefdrukken, pins, stickers, shirts, draagtassen, kaarten, tatoeages, buttons, etc.), ik probeer altijd een glimlach op je gezicht te toveren.
Er is genoeg ellende in de wereld. Het is goed om daar af en toe aan te kunnen ontsnappen. Ik probeer daarbij te helpen. Ik hoop dat mijn aanbiedingen je kunnen laten glimlachen of zelfs hardop lachen. (Maar niet te luid alstublieft, mijn zoon slaapt)
Ik begon mijn bedrijf 20 jaar geleden, nadat ik afstudeerde aan de kunstacademie. Eind 2018 ben ik lid geworden van Etsy omdat ik een internationaal boekenabonnement was gestart en ik meer mensen wilde bereiken. Ik heb de drang om dingen te blijven maken!
Bijna alles in mijn winkel maak ik zelf, met uitzondering van emaille pins en stickers. Ik heb daar geen machines voor. En eerlijk gezegd moet ik ergens een grens trekken. Ons huis barst al uit zijn voegen van alle machines, gereedschappen en stapels papier. Wij beschikken over een Riso machine, borduurmachine, rilmachine, knopenmakers, elektrische en analoge snijmachine, laserprinter/kopieermachine, snijplotter, nietmachine, boekjesmaker, hittepers, zeefdruktafel, zeefdrukcarrousel, kambinder, Etc etc.
Hi! My name is Jeroen (typical Dutch name). I'm a self publishing comic artist / illustrator. I try and bring the happy vibes with my work. Even though my work is pretty diverse (comic books, art books, patches, screen prints, pins, stickers, shirts, tote bags, cards, tattoos, buttons, etc.), I always try and bring a smile to your face.
There's enough misery in the world. It's good to be able to escape from that now and again. I try and help with that. I hope my listings can make you smile or even laugh out loud. (But not too loud please, my son is sleeping)
I started my business 20 years ago, after I graduated from art school. Late 2018 I joined Etsy because I had started an international book subscription and I wanted to reach more people. I have this urge to keep making stuff!
Almost everything in my shop is produced by myself, with the exception of enamel pins and stickers. I don't have any machines for that. And frankly, I have to draw the line somewhere. Our house is already bursting at the seams from all the machines, tools and stacks and stacks of paper. We have a Riso machine, embroidery machine, creasing machine, button makers, electric and analogue cutting machine, laser printer/copy machine, cutting plotter, stapling machine, booklet maker, heat press, screen printing table, screen printing carousel, comb binder, etc. etc.
