Ink by Ink 墨墨 is the creative studio of a Hong Kong-born architectural designer based in London — drawing stories of the cities, streets and imaginations that shape us.
Every piece begins with a deep fascination for the built world: the layered chaos of a Hong Kong shopfront, the density of an Asian streetscape, the fantastical structures that exist only in the space between architecture and dream. Trained as an architect and drawn to the mark-making traditions of East Asian ink art, each illustration is built line by line, detail by detail — a slow accumulation of marks that tries to capture not just how a place looks, but how it feels to be inside it.
The work sits somewhere between architectural drawing, urban storytelling and fantasy illustration — influenced equally by the living texture of Hong Kong streets and the imaginative worlds of Japanese manga and animation.
