Welcome to Life at the Edge of the Field
Life at the Edge of the Field is ontstaan uit een liefde voor de wisselende seizoenen, traditionele rassen en het dagelijkse ritme van het leven op een kleine Britse boerderij.
Elk seizoen brengt iets anders, maar er zijn ook overeenkomsten die het hele jaar door met elkaar verbinden. Van eieren en graan tot wol en veren, van recepten die in de boerenkeuken worden aangepast tot de dieren in de heggen: het zijn de alledaagse momenten die het leven op het platteland zo waardevol maken.
Veel van de producten die u hier vindt, beginnen hier ook. Sommige worden op de boerderij verbouwd of geteeld, andere worden zorgvuldig met de hand gemaakt of digitaal gedeeld, terwijl weer andere geïnspireerd zijn door de plek, de verhalen, de foto's en de tradities die ons hier in ons stukje platteland omringen.

Life at the Edge of the Field grew from a love of the changing seasons, heritage breeds and the daily rhythm of life on a small British farm.
Every season brings something different, but common threads bind the year together. From eggs and grain to wool and feathers, from recipes adapted in the farmhouse kitchen to wildlife in the hedgerows, it's the everyday moments that make rural life so rewarding.
Many of the products you'll find here begin here too. Some are raised or grown on the farm, some are carefully crafted by hand or shared digitally, while others are inspired by the place, the stories, the photographs and the traditions that surround us here in our corner of the countryside.
