Ultimamente, tenho experimentado mais com tingimento natural e obtido ótimos resultados ao capturar a beleza das folhas de eucalipto em minhas sedas. Elas me inspiraram a adicionar detalhes com caneta e tinta.
I love using color and pattern in fabric, yarns, and paper. My fascination with these materials was instilled by my mother. Later, when I learned to weave, my love of color and pattern surfaced and continues to inspire me as I approach my art. I let the materials speak to me—bringing sensations of excitement and creative intention. I won’t stop until I'm enchanted with each creation. I've also recently been experimenting more with natural dyeing, and have had great results capturing the beauty of eucalyptus leaves on my silks. They have inspired me to add embellishments with pen and ink.
