Sugar Free - Organic - Pure Energy
A friend of mine married a girl from Taiwan. Taiwan was under Japanese rule for about 50 years. At that time, the Japanese introduced many ideas into Taiwanese culture, among which was the stone-ground powder of green tea, or Matcha.
In Taiwan today, the heritage of Japanese quality holds steady, and Matcha is produced to a high-standard of freshness, purity, and grain-size. We work with an organic-certified farm, for example, which in Taiwan is an exceedingly difficult certification to get - it requires 0.00% contaminants in soil, for example, with no rounding error allowed.
But to get back to the story of Taiwan... the Taiwanese culture has embraced Japanese quality standards, but also American innovation culture. That's probably why Taiwan was first to package Matcha powder in individual single servings. This is a very big deal, because Matcha oxidises each time the tin is opened. Also, if you've ever handled an open tin of Matcha, you must know how incredibly messy it can be. Tinned Matcha just doesn't travel.
This Matcha is certified organic, containing no sugar or green food colouring. It was cold-ground on pharamceutical-grade machinery, to preserve nutrients. And it is sealed in 2 gram servings or "MachaXspress shots" which you can easily tuck into a purse or gymbag, a suitcase or a desk-drawer. This Matcha will travel.
To use, either pour into an espresso-sized cup and stir, or empty into a 330ml water bottle and shake, or sprinkle on a serving of yoghurt. Your shot is instantly ready, and, when you experience the kick, you will never look back! Unlike coffee, which wakes you up like a slap in the face, a Matcha shot is gentle and sustained lift, like a wind at your back. Also it doesn't seem to wear off. We have literally gone dawn-to-dusk, on the back of just one pack.
Enjoy!
