Copper jewelery (neither silver nor gold) should be exposed to detergents and water. And this is the first and essential thing - removing ornaments from your hands, e.g. before washing dishes. Chlorine is also harmful, so swimming in the pool is also not allowed. The perfume should be used before putting on the jewelry, after the skin is dry. Even the presence of skin cosmetics - e.g. greasy body lotions - can be harmful. It should be stored in a closed bag, e.g. a zipper, to minimize the risk of air ingress. Every now and then it needs cleaning to regain its glow.

Method I - moisten the object with lemon juice and sprinkle with salt, then polish with a soft cloth. You can also sprinkle half a lemon with salt and wipe the cleaned surface with it. Then rinse with water and dry.
Method II - Make a paste with baking soda and lemon juice in equal amounts, put it on the object and rub. Rinse and dry. If necessary, use a soft (but really soft) brush to clean the depressions.
Method III - pour ketchup over the item. Clean with a cloth, then wash and dry.
Method IV - vinegar bath with salt.
Other methods include cleaning with a jewelery cloth. These are dry cloths impregnated with a cleaning and polishing agent. Jewelery cleaned this way gains shine.
