Venho de uma linhagem de artistas, cada um à sua maneira. Meu avô paterno era um habilidoso marceneiro que trabalhava com serra de vaivém e conseguia criar peças com detalhes intrincados. Meu avô materno ganhava a vida criando peças ornamentais em ferro e minha mãe tem talento artístico para mosaicos, tinta à base de álcool e argila polimérica. Portanto, é natural que eu também tenha herdado um lado criativo.
Comecei meu negócio trabalhando com couro sintético para fazer brincos leves. Embora eu ainda ame a aparência e a versatilidade dos brincos de couro sintético, Deus estava me chamando para mudar de rumo.
Minha fé se tornou uma parte fundamental da minha vida, e quero poder compartilhá-la com os outros. Às vezes, isso se manifesta com um sorriso, um versículo ou simplesmente uma mensagem positiva. Os itens de decoração que crio transmitem a verdade de Deus de uma forma, por vezes, espirituosa e acolhedora, sem serem excessivamente formais.

Welcome and THANK YOU for stopping by Olive Creative Studio! My name is Jennifer, the creator and designer of Olive Creative Studio, and I am so happy to have you here!
I come from a line of artists, all in their own right. My paternal grandfather was a skilled scroll saw woodworker who could create the most intricately detailed pieces. My maternal grandfather made a living creating ornamental iron and my mother has her artistic hands in mosaics, alcohol ink and polymer clay. So, it’s only natural I had a creative streak, as well.
I started my business working with faux leather to make lightweight faux leather earrings. While I still love the look and versatility of faux leather earrings, God was tugging at my heart to shift gears.
My faith has become a pivotal part of my life, and I want to be able to share that faith to others. Sometimes that's with a smile, a verse or just some positivity. The home living items I create share the truth of God in a sometimes witty, welcoming way without being too stuffy.
