Ruby Dear Designs è nata da una passione per il ricamo tramandata di generazione in generazione.
Il mio percorso è iniziato nell'infanzia, quando ho imparato il ricamo a mano, il punto croce e l'uncinetto da mia nonna Ruby Lee. Mi ha insegnato molto più che semplici punti. Mi ha insegnato la pazienza, la maestria artigianale e la bellezza di creare qualcosa di significativo con le proprie mani. Oggi, Ruby Dear Designs porta il suo nome in onore di questa eredità.
La sua influenza continua a vivere non solo in questo settore, ma anche nella mia famiglia. La mia terza figlia porta con orgoglio il nome Ruby, un ricordo quotidiano della donna che per la prima volta mi ha messo ago e filo tra le mani.
Nel 2012, con la nascita della mia prima figlia, il ricamo è diventato più di un hobby: è diventata una vocazione. Nel 2018 ho iniziato a digitalizzare i miei disegni, determinata a creare file che si ricamassero alla perfezione, con una sequenza accurata e che riflettessero quello stile senza tempo che non sempre riuscivo a trovare.

Ruby Dear Designs began with a love for embroidery passed down through generations.
My journey started in childhood, learning hand embroidery, cross stitch, and crochet from my Granny Ruby Lee. She taught me more than stitches. She taught me patience, craftsmanship, and the beauty of creating something meaningful by hand. Today, Ruby Dear Designs carries her name in honor of that legacy.
Her influence lives on not only in this business, but in my family as well. My third child proudly carries the name Ruby, a daily reminder of the woman who first placed a needle and thread in my hands.
In 2012, when my first daughter was born, embroidery became more than a hobby, it became a calling. By 2018, I began digitizing my own designs, determined to create files that stitched beautifully, sequenced thoughtfully, and reflected the timeless style I couldn’t always find.
