The Story Behind Simply Modest 🖤
Simply Modest surgió durante una etapa de mi vida que jamás esperé.
Tras el diagnóstico de mi hija Lennox, me di cuenta de que un trabajo tradicional ya no era viable para nuestra familia. Necesitaba que estuviera en casa con ella, así que dejé mi trabajo y me convertí en su cuidadora a tiempo completo.
Aunque estaba inmensamente agradecida de poder quedarme en casa con ella, también quería encontrar una manera de contribuir económicamente a nuestra familia y ayudar a mi marido con los gastos. Además, necesitaba algo propio, algo creativo que me mantuviera ocupada durante los ratos libres que tenía al estar en casa.
Así empezó Simply Modest. 🖤
Lo que empezó como una pequeña forma de ganar un dinero extra desde casa se convirtió poco a poco en algo que jamás imaginé. Pedido tras pedido, cliente tras cliente, este pequeño negocio siguió creciendo, ¡y al final incluso convertimos un autobús en nuestra propia boutique móvil!
Ahora estoy trabajando para lograr un sueño aún mayor: convertir Simply Modest en mi principal fuente de ingresos, sin dejar de ser la madre y cuidadora que mi familia necesita.
Hoy encontrarás prendas hechas a mano, creaciones personalizadas, diseños digitales originales y muchas otras cosas que simplemente me hacen feliz crear. 🌙🌻

Sencillamente modesto
Simply Modest started during a season of my life I never expected.
After my daughter, Lennox, received her diagnosis, I realized that working a traditional job was no longer going to work for our family. She needed me home with her, so I left my job and became her full-time caregiver.
While I was incredibly grateful to be able to stay home with her, I still wanted a way to contribute financially to our family and help my husband with the bills. I also needed something that was mine—something creative that could keep me busy during the little pockets of downtime that came with being home.
That's how Simply Modest began. 🖤
What started as a small way to make a little extra income from home slowly grew into something I never imagined. Order by order, customer by customer, this little business continued to grow—and eventually, we even turned a bus into our very own mobile boutique!
Now I'm working toward an even bigger dream: turning Simply Modest into my full-time income while still being able to be the mom and caregiver my family needs me to be.
Today you'll find handmade apparel, custom creations, original digital designs and plenty of other things that simply make me happy to create. 🌙🌻
