Seguindo os passos de minhas duas avós, tenho tricô e crochê desde criança, trazendo formas de arte antigas para os tempos modernos.
Antes dos dias do YouTube, aprendi a tricotar e fazer crochê com minhas avós, e a partir de grandes livros de instrução de capa dura brilhante - ainda posso sentir o peso desses volumes épicos nas minhas mãos de 10 anos. Meu favorito desses livros era do Reino Unido, então esta foi minha primeira introdução à diferença entre terminologia de crochê britânico vs. americano...
Como adulto, ver outras pessoas se deleitando com meu trabalho artesanal acabou sendo uma das minhas maiores alegrias. Cada vez que alguém sorri quando coloca uma de minhas criações, sou grato por ter trazido alegria.

Following in the footsteps of both of my grandmothers, I've been knitting and crocheting since I was a little kid, bringing antique art forms into modern times.
Back before the days of YouTube, I learned to knit and crochet from my grandmothers, and from big glossy hardcover instructional books - I can still feel the weight of those epic volumes in my 10-year-old hands. My favourite of these books was from the UK, so this was my first introduction to the difference between British vs. American crochet terminology...
As an adult, watching other people delight in my handcrafted work has turned out to be one of my greatest joys. Each time someone beams when they put on one of my creations, I am grateful to have brought them joy.
