Who's behind SmartFutureModels?
My name is Andrei. I'm an engineer based in Timișoara, Romania, with over 10 years of experience designing heavy machinery and industrial equipment. A few years ago I bought a laser cutter and started applying the same engineering principles I use professionally — precision, modularity, proper tolerances — to things I actually wanted to build for my own workshop.
What started as a personal project turned into a shop with over 5,500 sales and customers in more than 50 countries.
What makes these files different?
Every single file in this shop is tested on a real laser cutter before it goes live. Not designed and uploaded — designed, cut, assembled, checked, adjusted if needed, then uploaded. If a joint doesn't fit perfectly or a drawer doesn't slide smoothly, the file doesn't get listed. That's the standard I hold myself to because I'm also the person using these files.
Most of the designs are modular — the drawer units, paint racks, tool holders and Kallax inserts are all part of systems that stack, expand and work together. Buy one piece today, add to it next month.
