Hola, soy Jenna de Spring Goods Studio. El acolchado y la costura han sido pasatiempos míos durante años. Cuando entramos en confinamiento, comencé a abordar proyectos inacabados para aliviar el estrés. Cuando comencé a quedarme sin tela, pensé que podría justificar el costo de la tela nueva usando algunas para hacer y vender máscaras faciales. Compraría una yarda y usaría la mitad para máscaras faciales y ahorraría la mitad para edredones. Brillante. Comencé pidiendo unos metros de mi tela favorita de Liberty of London, hice algunas máscaras y una lista. Me siento honrado por el entusiasmo que los compradores de Etsy han mostrado por mis máscaras. ¡He estado haciendo y vendiendo máscaras sin parar desde que comencé y tendré restos para edredones por el resto de mi vida! ¡Jaja! Nunca lo esperé y aunque amigos y familiares me han dicho durante años que debería vender lo que creo, esto me ha dado la confianza y la experiencia para saber cómo iniciar un pequeño negocio. Espero poder dejar de hacer máscaras pronto y pasar a agregar más productos a mi tienda.
Hi, I’m Jenna from Spring Goods Studio. Quilting and sewing have been hobbies of mine for years. When we went into lock down I started tackling unfinished projects to relieve stress. As I started to run out of fabric I thought I could justify the cost of new fabric by using some to make and sell face masks. I’d buy one yard and use half for face masks and save half for quilts. Brilliant. I started by ordering a few yards of my favorite Liberty of London fabric, made a few masks and one listing. I am humbled by the enthusiasm Etsy shoppers have shown for my masks. I have been making and selling masks nonstop since I started and I will have scraps for quilts for the rest of my life! Haha! I never expected it and though friends and family have told me for years I should sell what I create, this has given me the confidence and experience to know how to start a small business. I hope I can stop making masks soon and move on to add more products to my shop.
