"Somos un negocio familiar que comenzó cuando nuestra hija recién casada decidió abrir una tienda de Etsy con la esperanza de ganar suficiente dinero para permitirle quedarse en casa con sus hijos cuando llegaran. Decidimos unirnos a ella y, finalmente, cuando llegó el pequeño Charlie, ella estaba más feliz siendo empleada que como dueña, así que nosotros (Jim y Pattie) la compramos y ahora ella y sus hermanas trabajan para nosotros en el estudio (nuestro garaje) haciendo producción unos días a la semana mientras los nietos (¡4 de ellos ahora!) pasan el día con Nana y Papa ".
¡Eventualmente crecimos y transmitimos la propiedad a una amiga de la familia que continúa la misma historia con la esperanza de que eventualmente pueda trabajar desde casa con sus futuros hijos!
Lo que comenzó como una tienda se ha convertido en 3: Rustic Charlie Shop, Charlie's Party Shop y Charlie Chalk Designs.

”We are a family business that started when our newlywed daughter decided to open an Etsy shop hoping to make enough money to enable her to stay at home with her children when they came along. We decided to join her and eventually, when little Charlie came along, she was happier being an employee than being an owner, so we (Jim and Pattie) bought her out and now she and her sisters work for us in the studio (our garage) doing production a few days a week while the grandkiddos (4 of them now!) spend the day with Nana and Papa.”
We eventually grew and passed on ownership to a family friend who is continuing the same story in hopes she will eventually be able to work from home with her future kiddos!
What started out as one shop has turned into 3 - Rustic Charlie Shop, Charlie's Party Shop, and Charlie Chalk Designs.
