I've never been the spotlight type. In every job I've had, I was the engine in the back — the teammate who makes sure the work actually gets done. That's still true. This shop is just me, working behind the scenes, standing behind every file with my name on it.
My background is people and hustle. I spent 15-plus years in human resources — recruiting, staffing, the hiring side of the desk — and about 15 years reselling on the side, buying and selling on eBay and just about everywhere else. Both taught me the same lesson: you can't fix what you can't see. Money especially.
A few years back, life rearranged my priorities. My brother got seriously ill, and I sold my own house and moved in with him in Massachusetts to be his full-time caretaker for almost two years — so he could come home instead of a nursing home. He's doing better now, living more independently. In 2024 I made a fresh start in Florida. I live simply, in a camper I own outright, on land that's mine. Modest, deliberate, and paid for — that's how I like it.
