A Brief History of Threads of Devon
Ho fondato Threads of Devon nel 2010 come servizio di ricamo, fornendo abiti da lavoro alla mia zona di Brixham, nel Devon, nel Regno Unito.
Questa iniziativa si diffuse presto tramite passaparola nelle aree circostanti del Sud Ovest e coinvolse clienti come il Britannia Royal Navy College di Dartmouth e una serie di aziende locali, scuole, pub e club, sia grandi che piccole.
Divenne chiaro che la posizione non era ciò che contava, ma la capacità di fare un buon lavoro. Threads of Devon ora ha clienti in tutto il paese.
L'abbigliamento da lavoro è ancora una parte importante della mia attività, ma nel tempo ho sviluppato una gamma di modelli in continua evoluzione che permette al mio lato creativo di esprimersi al meglio. Fino a poco tempo fa, questi modelli erano disponibili solo presso il mio stand in diverse fiere, fiere, regate, ecc.
Ho finalmente deciso che è giunto il momento di entrare nel XXI secolo e vendere online in modo più professionale e organizzato. Non voglio dire che non parteciperò più alle fiere, perché incontrare persone, chiacchierare e ascoltare le loro idee è molto più divertente che cucire da sola. Spero che piacciano anche a voi.

I originally established Threads of Devon in 2010, as an Embroidery Service, providing workwear to my local area of Brixham, Devon, UK.
This soon spread by word of mouth to the surrounding wider areas of the South West and included customers such as Britannia Royal Navy College in Dartmouth and a range of both large and small local businesses, school, pubs and clubs.
It became clear that the location was not what was important, it was the ability to do a good job. Threads of Devon now has customers nationwide.
Workwear is still a big part of what I do, but over time I have developed a range of designs, which is always evolving and allows my creative side to show itself. Until recently these have only been available locally from my stand at various shows, fairs, regattas etc.
I have finally decided that the time is right to enter the 21st Century and sell online in a more professional, organized manner. Not to say that I won't still attend shows as meeting people, chatting and listening to their ideas is so much more fun than sewing on your own. I hope you like them too.
