Så varför verkar stora byggvaruhus bara försöka sälja in den nuvarande trenden? Eller ännu värre, en träskylt med "mycket karaktär" som inte ens är äkta trä och har exakt samma karaktär som resten av skyltarna i hyllan?

Hej, jag heter Krista och har alltid älskat att skapa saker till vårt hem. Speciellt eftersom jag inte har haft råd med eller hitta saker som passar vår stil. Jag startade block.paper.scissors. år 2010 efter att ha insett att det fanns så många andra där ute som försökte inreda sitt hem men frustrerade över bristen på alternativ där ute, eller ännu värre, att spendera pengar på det där speciella föremålet bara för att upptäcka att det inte var så speciellt, eller värt priset de betalade.
Här på block.paper.scissors. betyder handgjort att varje bit tillverkas för hand, en i taget. Från valet av trä, till designen som används, till den slutliga slipningen och distressing, och slutligen till att ditt föremål slås in och skickas, hanterar jag allt. Inga två skyltar är någonsin identiska. Du kan också vara säker på att träskylt betyder just det, en massiv träbit. Ingen tunn plywood, ingen mdf, ingen träliknande produkt. Bara massiv furu och den karaktär som bara trä kan erbjuda.
Viktigast av allt, om du letar efter något specifikt, eller har ett öga på något men bara önskar att det fanns i en annan storlek eller färg, så finns jag alltid tillgänglig för specialbeställningar. Det är ju precis därför jag startade den här butiken!

Hi, I'm Krista and I have always loved creating things for our home. Especially since I couldn't afford or find items that fit our style. I started block.paper.scissors. in 2010 after realizing that there were so many others out there trying to decorate their home but frustrated at the lack of options out there, or worse, spending money on that special piece only to find out that it wasn't that special, or worth the price they paid.
Here at block.paper.scissors. handmade means each piece is made by hand, one at a time. From the choosing of the wood, to the design used, to the final sanding and distressing, and finally to your item being wrapped up and shipped, I handle it all. No two signs are ever identical. You can also be assured that wood sign means just that, a solid piece of wood. No thin plywood, no mdf, no wood-like product. Just solid pine and the character that only wood can offer.
