All items come with a branded jewelry card inside a cello plastic sleeve, and finished with a decorative organza bag. If you include a gift message, we will swap out the branded jewelry card for the custom gift message card.

For gift wrapped items, we use a jewelry box and wrapping paper in place of the organza bag.

We work with a variety of different materials. While we have phased out most of our pewter charms, we now work with a combination of plated alloy, stainless steel and enamel charms. Our chains are plated copper, brass or stainless steel (depending on the listing). Our cabochons on our photo pendants are made of glass.

If you are allergic to plated base metals, we do not recommend purchasing our necklaces in this shop. (We do have a sterling silver jewelry shop called "charmphilosophy". People who are allergic to base metals may notice a fast rate of tarnishing. This is caused by a reaction between base metal and the oils in the skin.

We do offer hypoallergenic stainless steel and/or sterling silver earring hooks for most of our earrings.

Remove jewelry before exercising, bathing or swimming. Alloys and plated metal chains will tarnish more quickly when exposed to moisture.

Store unworn jewelry in airtight plastic. This will delay tarnishing the longest.

Mild tarnishing may come off most charms with a jewelry polishing cloth. Do not use liquid jewelry cleaners.
