MOONASTERY
Moonastery è un luogo dove le mie idee prendono vita.
Cosa mi ispira***
Natura, cosmo, scienza, geometria, tarocchi, tutto vintage, culture diverse, simboli e archetipi per citarne alcuni. L'ispirazione può venire da molti luoghi inaspettati, quindi cerco di tenere sempre con me un taccuino per registrare o abbozzare le mie idee (e la maggior parte di esse deve ancora essere realizzata). Ho sempre amato i minerali e le pietre preziose, sono affascinato dai pattern, dal fatto che possano essere ripetuti più e più volte e non si vedano i bordi, mi danno un senso di continuità e infinito. Mi piace creare disegni al computer, è un mezzo che mi permette di rendere le cose reali, da un'immagine nella mia testa a una cosa tangibile, che si tratti di tessuto, stampa o gioiello tagliato al laser, ma ho anche bisogno di sporcarmi le mani, quindi assemblo, dipingo, vernicio, ecc.
Il mio stile***
Se dovessi nominare il mio stile probabilmente sarebbe boho minimalista, a volte più boho, a volte più minimale con una dose di eccentricità, mi piacciono le cose un po 'ruvide e non lucidate, sceglierei un paesaggio nebbioso desolato sul sole sulla spiaggia affollata. I miei interessi e il mio stile cambiano e si evolvono, quindi non so davvero come sarà il prossimo anno. Quello di cui sono sicuro è che vorrò e cercherò di creare e progettare cose.
Un paio di anni fa vendevo su Etsy come www.etsy.com/shop/ravdeco (non potevo continuare a vendere lì mentre mi trasferivo nel paese).
Ora sono tornato con nuovi prodotti e idee e alcuni preferiti dal negozio precedente.

***What inspires me***
Nature, cosmos, science, geometry, tarot, vintage everything, different cultures, symbols and archetypes to name a few. Inspiration can come from many unexpected places so I try to keep a notebook with me all the time to record or sketch my ideas (and majority of them is yet to be realized). I've always loved minerals and gemstones, I'm fascinated by patterns, the fact that they can be repeated over and over again and you can't see the edges, they give me a sense of continuity and infinity. I like creating computer designs, it's a medium which allows me to make things real, from an image in my head into a tangible thing, be it fabric, print or laser cut piece of jewellery but I also have a need to get my hands dirty, so I assemble, paint, varnish, etc.
***My style***
If I was to name my style it probably would be boho minimalist, sometimes more boho, sometimes more minimal with a dose of quirkiness, I like things a bit rough and unpolished, I would choose a desolated foggy landscape over sunshine on the crowdy beach. My interests and my style change and evolve so I don't really know what it will be like next year. What I'm sure about, is that I will want and try to create and design things.
