The earrings are very finely embroidered and almost look like live butterflies. I absolutely love them. One little thing: they are so very light they might literally fly away! I nearly lost one almost as soon as I started wearing them; I was able to solve this by putting a little plastic protector on the back.

Hello!
My name is Aleksandra and I am the sole designer and maker at OOLIKU.

I started my adventure with embroidery in 2008. Initially it was just a hobby that becomes a real job over time. In 2015 I completed a historical embroidery course which allowed me to learn and improve my embroidery technique. A technique I love especially is embroidery with metallized thread, modeled on medieval projects.

Embroidery is my individual language of artistic expression. I carefully mix two things I love: the color and texture of metallized threads, the combination of which has become my trademark. My jewelry is thoughtful, made with the selected modern materials and using old techniques.

In my work, I try to preserve the old craftsmanship and present them in a modern, artistic form accessible to everyone.

All the pieces are made on a human scale with respect and love for jewelry. My jewelry are made in very small quantities according to reasoned and ethical processes.
Some items are even made to order.

Your jewelry is made of cotton and metallized threads - delicate and sensitive raw materials.

Contact with water and other liquids can destroy it. It is advised that you keep jewelry away from cosmetics and water.
All brass pieces have been polished and lacquered to prevent tarnishing. Perfume, perfume oil, moisturisers and sun cream can damage this protective coating.

Keep your jewellery in its box when not wearing - thanks to this you will protect it from light and dust.
