Amongst the Flowers 5 inch Premium English Paper Piecing Pattern - PDF download

Welcome to 'Amongst the Flowers'. An English Paper Piecing pattern featuring 16 unique hexagon shaped blocks. 12 are flower blocks and 2 Bees and 2 Butterflies, there are also shapes to create edges for squaring off the design. There is also 3" and 4" versions of this pattern which are harder as they get smaller but none of these are considered beginner patterns.

This is the Premium version of the pattern which includes detailed assembly instructions for each block and an SVG file to use with cutting machines to cut the papers required.
I will be adding 'Basic' versions of the pattern without assembly instructions or the SVG soon. In time I will also add the blocks individually but this will be a few months away.

All the shapes you need to create the blocks are on the pages at the end of the pattern so you can print them all together with a thicker paper. They are arranged in a 'one cut' layout so you just cut once to separate many of the shapes to reduce the cutting time.

NOTE: It doesn't contain instructions to go on to create a quilt, or cover the basics of EPP'.

It is for those who are intermediate level with EPP as it contains some small pieces.

IMPORTANT** This is the listing to purchase ALL of the blocks at one time. This is the Five inch Pattern (5" along one edge and 10" across the centre point to point) which includes:
A4 and US Letter size paper layouts
SVG files for all the paper shapes you need to create two of the blocks.
Assembly instructions to create each block.
Tables to show how many of each shape is required and minimum fabric colour suggestions.
Table to show how many blocks to create for the main quilt sizes.
Over 50 pages in total.

Please note I don't provide detailed fabric quantities as everybody cuts their EPP shapes very differently but the table will help when deciding fabric buying requirements. I suggest working mainly with solids and blenders and buying bundles of tonal 100% cotton fabric is an excellent place to start.
