The main feature of this bangle is the cabochon of the gorgeous and fairly rare gemstone Eudialyte. This Eudialyte gemstone has distinctive red/pink markings creating a pattern against the dark base colour of the stone. It is simply beautiful and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.
Working with such a beautiful gemstone it was important to me that the Euialyte should be made to stand out rather than get lost within a design. One of the ways I did this was to add several Garnets to the bangle. These not only added some embellishment to the design but they also helped to bring out the rich colouring in the Eudialyte.
The base of the bangle has been formed in mixed metals with an alternate arrangement of 14k gold fill and sterling silver wires. The outer and central wires are twisted to create some extra texture. The wires have been wire wrapped together with a 14k gold wrapping wire. The wires have then been shaped to either side of the bangle to help create some balance with the central focal. A clasp has been formed using the base wires of the bangle with several spirals sitting against the base of the bangle to either side of the clasp. Spirals of wire have also been used to provide decoration around the central Eudialiyte.
This is a gorgeous and unique bangle. From the mixed metal wire base, to the beautiful Eudialyte gemstone, to the garnet and spiral embellishments, this is one special bangle and one that I am sure you will treasure.
Size: To fit wrist up to 7 1/4 in (18 1/2 cm). This can be adjusted down slightly but please remember that due to the length of the gemstone (2 1/2 in) the bangle will need to sit slightly higher on the wrist.
The bangle will be presented in a red bangle gift box.
