A funny thing happened to me on the way to the improv...
In actuality, a funny thing happened to me on the way to finishing Grad school. During the last phase of obtaining a degree in Social Work, life took one of those funny bends and I found myself taking a photography and jewelry design class just for fun. Over time, one class led to another which led to another, which led to another until I could no longer deny my urge to create. After much deliberation, I became a free lance photographer and designer. I am also the proud owner of Hocus Focus Photography and Art. My photography has been published in books, catalogs, magazines, newspapers and has appeared on various websites. My jewelry and other art pieces have appeared in small galleries and at art shows in the Midwest. Oh yes...I'd like to think that in some small way that my Social Work degree has most kindly and gently helped me to obtain a connection with both my subject and patrons of my work.
Thank you for stopping by. As always, I am most appreciative.
