26Threads come to life!
Comencé a bordar durante las vacaciones de 2020, honestamente, ¡porque estaba tratando de encontrar una distracción de estar en mi teléfono todo el tiempo! Rápidamente me enamoré del oficio. Mientras buscaba en Etsy patrones de cosas que quería crear, me di cuenta de que esto era algo que podía empezar a crear yo mismo. Avance rápido unos meses más tarde, y ahora he abierto 26 hilos y he abrazado por completo mi lado astuto. Una vez que dejamos la ciudad y nos mudamos a los suburbios, teníamos más espacio, así que me dediqué a otro pasatiempo: ¡coser!
Llamé a mi tienda 26Threads porque 26 es un apodo que me dio un buen amigo. En pocas palabras, mi nombre es Mackenzie... Z es la letra 26 del alfabeto... ¡así que empezó a llamarme 26! E hilos, porque estos hilos ahora están dirigiendo mi vida y se pueden encontrar por toda mi casa :)

I started doing embroidery over the holiday break in 2020, quite honestly, because I was trying to find a distraction from being on my phone all the time! I quickly fell in love with the craft. As I searched Etsy for patterns of things I wanted to create, I realized that this was something I could start creating myself! Fast forward a few months later, and now I've opened up 26Threads and have fully embraced my crafty side. Once we left the city and moved to the suburbs, we had more space so I took up another fabric hobby - sewing!
I named my shop 26Threads because 26 is a nickname given to me by a good friend. Simply put, my name is Mackenzie...Z is the 26th letter of the alphabet...so he started calling me 26! And threads, because these threads are now running my life and can be found all around my home :)
