Hi, I’m Lucy, the owner of Bug & Bay, a little personalised keepsake business based in South Wales.
Bug & Bay was born in 2022, after four years of being a stay-at-home mum to my two children. My kids are the inspiration behind everything I do — in fact, Bug & Bay is named after the special nicknames I have for them. 💛
What started as a little creative idea has grown into something I could never have imagined. I’m so proud to have now reached over 20,000 sales, and I genuinely still can’t believe that something I started from home has become my dream job!
Every single piece is handmade from scratch and personalised with the names of the people we love the most. I create keepsakes using air-dry clay, wish bracelets and lots of other personalised treasures, all made with the hope that they become something truly special to the person receiving them.
One of my favourite thoughts is imagining my creations hanging in so many different homes, each one carrying the names of the people who mean the most to that family. I hope that every customer opens their order and feels a little bit of love when they see it — and that every time they look at it hanging on their wall, it brings back those special feelings all over again.
I pour so much love into every order because I know these aren't just names on a piece of clay. They represent children, partners, parents, grandparents, friends and all of the people who make our lives special.
