Há muitas coisas que nos definem e nos motivam a começar algo novo e excitante em nossas vidas. O mesmo pode ser dito deste empreendimento. A ideia nasceu de um anel que fiz para minha falecida esposa Rachel. Você pode ler sobre nós abaixo. Sempre gostei de trabalhar com minhas mãos e a maioria das minhas escolhas de carreira envolviam alguma faceta disso. Voltei para a faculdade em 2011 para buscar um diploma de associado em armeiro e durante esse tempo descobri um amor e apreço por trabalhar com madeira. Esses anéis são feitos para expressar meu amor por trabalhar com minhas mãos, em memória de Rachel e porque eu quero criar coisas bonitas para as pessoas.

NOSSA HISTÓRIA:
Em fevereiro de 2016 conheci Rachel em um grupo da igreja. Em março estávamos namorando e no início de abril eu a pedi em casamento. Perguntar a ela não foi planejado, chegamos a um momento em que eu sabia que era certo perguntar a ela e eu fiz. Eu sabia que ela queria a aliança da avó como anel de noivado. Mas a mãe dela tinha o anel, e eu queria dar a ela um dos meus até conseguirmos o anel da mãe dela. Rachel não era atraída por coisas caras e chamativas, mas apreciava presentes atenciosos que vinham do coração. Decidi fazer um anel de um pau de rosa que eu tinha de um projeto universitário. E assim o primeiro anel que eu já fiz veio. Nos casamos em fevereiro de 2017 e mesmo que ela já tivesse o anel da avó, ela sempre usava o que eu fazia para ela. Esta história feliz mudou na manhã de 11 de abril de 2017, quando Rachel morreu em um acidente de carro a caminho do trabalho.

There are many things that define us and motivate us to start something new and exciting in our lives. The same can be said of this venture. The idea was born from a ring I made for my late wife Rachel. You can read about us below. I have always liked to work with my hands and most of my career choices involved some facet of this. I returned to college in 2011 to pursue an associates degree in gunsmithing and during this time discovered a love and appreciation for working with wood. These rings are made to express my love of working with my hands, in memory of Rachel and because I want to create beautiful things for people.

OUR STORY:
In Feb 2016 I met Rachel at a church homegroup. By March we were dating and in early April I asked her to marry me. My asking her was totally unplanned, we just got to a moment in time where I knew it was right to ask her and I did. I knew that she wanted her grandmother’s wedding ring as an engagement ring. But, her mother had the ring, and I wanted to give her one of my own until we could get the ring from her mother. Rachel was not one attracted to expensive, flashy things but treasured thoughtful gifts that came from the heart. I decided to make her a ring from some rosewood that I had from a college project. And so the first ring I ever made came about. We were married in Feb 2017 and even though she by now had her grandmother’s ring, she always wore the one I made for her. This happy story changed on the morning of April 11, 2017 when Rachel died in a car accident on her way to work.
