Consumer Goobs is opgericht om uw leven te verlichten met spannende, speelse, stijlvolle, gedenkwaardige en betaalbare 3D-geprinte lampen; ontwerpen die zich niet hoeven te verschuilen achter het woord 'minimalistisch'.
We blijven onophoudelijk itereren, printen, verfijnen en vuilnisbakken vullen met prototypes totdat elk stuk iets is dat we met trots in ons eigen huis zouden willen tentoonstellen.
Plastic was een doorbraak halverwege de vorige eeuw: goedkoop te produceren, gemakkelijk te vormen en perfect voor gedurfde, kleurrijke, futuristische vormen. 3D-printen moderniseert die doorbraak; het stelt ons in staat om snel prototypes te ontwikkelen en lampen op aanvraag te printen met milieuvriendelijker, plantaardig plastic, waardoor de kosten laag blijven zonder concessies te doen aan de kwaliteit.
Wij staan achter ons werk en doen het om mensen blij te maken. Als iets beschadigd aankomt of tijdens normaal gebruik kapot gaat, vervangen we het.
Consumer Goobs wordt geleid door Nick Arciaga, een kunstenaar en illustrator uit de animatiewereld die er altijd al van droomde om Imagineer te worden.

Plastic was a mid-century breakthrough: cheap to produce, easy to shape, and perfect for bold, colorful, futuristic forms. 3D printing modernizes that breakthrough; it lets us develop prototypes fast and print lamps on demand using more environmentally-friendly, plant-based plastic, keeping costs down without cutting corners.
We stand by our work, and we do it to make people happy. If anything arrives damaged or breaks over the course of regular use, we’ll replace it.
