COVID, Then Back Surgery
Cómo empezamos, bueno, por supuesto que pasó COVID y yo (Julie) soy enfermera. Contraje COVID del hospital y estuve inactivo durante un mes antes de volver al trabajo. Eso es mucho tiempo de inactividad para una persona ocupada a la que le gusta trabajar y ayudar a los demás. Unos 3 meses después, me operaron la espalda. Esto significó otros 3 meses fuera del trabajo. Mi madre (Chris) salió a ayudar a mi esposa y a mí a navegar este momento difícil.
Y aquí es donde todo cambió, ¡trajo su máquina de cricut! Me enamoré y trabajamos hasta las 2:30 am la mayoría de las noches aprendiendo y disfrutando de la diversión que la pequeña máquina traía consigo. Mi madre también es muy astuta con sus manos. Ella ha estado haciendo coronas durante años y la animé a que me dejara colocar sus hermosas creaciones en línea. Así que ahí lo tienes, ahí es donde estamos. Mi esposa (Amy) también se ha visto atraída por la diversión últimamente. ¡Somos un trío de diversión! ¡Nos encantan las manualidades y estamos muy emocionados cuando las personas encuentran cosas que aman en nuestra tienda!

How did we start, well, of course COVID happened and I (Julie) am a nurse. I contracted COVID from the hospital and was down for a month before getting back to work. That is a lot of down time for a busy person who likes to be working and helping others. About 3 months later, I had back surgery. This meant another 3 months off of work. My mother (Chris) came out to help my wife and I navigate this difficult time.
And this is where it all changed, she brought her cricut machine! I fell in love and we worked till 2:30 am most nights learning and enjoying the fun that the little machine brought with it. My mother is also so very crafty with her hands. She has been making wreaths for years and I encouraged her to let me place her beautiful creations online. So there you have it, that is where we are. My wife (Amy) has also been pulled into the fun lately. We are a trio of fun! We love crafts and are so excited when people find things that they love from our shop!!
