One Couple's Journey to Live Life Inspired
Hi! We're Matt & Kristin Rogers, owners and artists of Destination Tree. The very first "Destination Tree" was a gift Matt created to showcase our favorite travels and trips. In August of 2014, Matt left his corporate career to pursue the creation and development of Destination Tree, and driftwood art that inspired others. Kristin supported the website and marketing of Destination Tree but continued to work full time.
In July of 2015, we took another big step in the direction of our dreams. We wanted to downsize and re-focus our life, and we also wanted to work together to build our business full time. So, Kristin left her job, we sold our house, sold most of our belongings and developed a plan. Our new adventure was two-fold: 1) Grow our business and 2) Travel the United States. So, we traveled full-time in an RV from coast to coast and national park to national park, all while creating and shipping custom driftwood artwork. After more than a year on the road, we decided to set up a more substantial workshop to handle the growing business and we now alternate between creating artwork and traveling around the world.
We're passionate about travel, adventure and inspiring others. We hope our artwork and adventures inspire others to pursue their passions as well. We are all fellow travelers on life’s journey, and Destination Tree artwork tells a story of our past, present and future.
Our artwork is all handmade and completely custom. We will work with you to create a piece of artwork that tells your own story - of your family, travels or aspirations. We've made housewarming gifts, wedding gifts, wedding decor, anniversary gifts, birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, cottage & cabin signs, family trees...and much, much more. We have lots of listings in our shop that show the variety, but we are completely open to your ideas and requests. We also take our customers satisfaction very seriously. If you place an order and are unhappy with it for ANY reason, we would like the opportunity to re-make your artwork, or provide you a full refund.
