Though ceramics can go in the dishwasher, it is not recommended for the longevity of the object. Hand washing is recommended.
Work is microwave safe unless specifically stated under the object description. Any item that has gold on it is not microwave safe, and is a finish I use in my practice.
All ceramic pieces are oven safe.
All ceramic pieces also can hold both cold and hot substances.
