Redeemer Media : the story of my Christian merch shop
Hej! Jag heter Arthur. Jag blev troende i slutet av 20-årsåldern efter en tuff kamp mot depression. Herren drog mig upp ur gropen och räddade mig. Sedan dess har jag varit fascinerad av Skrifterna och av att sprida det inspirerande budskapet om Jesus och evangelierna.
Professionellt har jag arbetat både inom den kreativa världen och inom teknikvärlden. Jag har skrivit böcker (du hittar dem på Amazon) och lärt mig flera aspekter av webben och design. Idén till den här butiken började med min förmåga att designa i kombination med min oförmåga att hitta en mängd olika snygga trosbaserade kläder och accessoarer eller kristen merchandise - kristna kläder, accessoarer och heminredningsartiklar. Jag letade efter design som var mer modern, inte överdriven, elegant, mestadels minimalistisk, som såg bra ut och var inspirerande och positiv. Viktigast av allt hoppades jag hitta merchandise som väckte frågor och ledde till viktiga samtal om tro, Gud, Jesus och de viktiga frågor som vi alla ställer och kämpar med.
Eftersom jag inte kunde hitta sådana föremål bestämde jag mig för att skapa den här butiken för att fylla det behovet. Med tanke på min omfattande utbildning i Skriften och design kom jag fram till att om jag fick chansen kunde jag hjälpa till att skapa sådana föremål som många andra skulle tycka var intressanta.
Jag uppskattar verkligen de som ansluter sig till mitt uppdrag att skapa fantastiska kristna designer, sträva efter nya ambitioner, skapa goda samtal och sprida evangeliet.
Hi! My name's Arthur. I became a believer in my late 20s after a tough battle with depression. The Lord pulled me out of the pit and rescued me. Since then, I've been enthralled with the Scriptures and spreading the inspirational message of Jesus and the Gospels.
Professionally, I've been both in the creative world and in the tech world. I've authored books (you can find on Amazon) as well as learning multiple facets of the web as well as design. This idea for this shop started with my ability to design coupled with my inability to find a variety of good-looking faith-based clothing and accessories or Christian merch - Christian apparel, accessories, and home goods. I was looking for designs that were more modern, not over the top, classy, mostly minimalist, that looked good, and were inspirational and positive. Most importantly, I was hoping to find merch that incited questions and led to important conversations about faith, God, Jesus, and the significant questions that we all ask and struggle with.
Since I could not find such items, I decided to create this shop to fill that need. Given my extensive training in the Scriptures and design, I came to the conclusion that, if given a chance, I could help create such items that many others would find intriguing.
