An expression of gratitude reignited an old passion...
Meu chefe se aposentou no final de dezembro de 2017 e me deu apoio e incentivo fantásticos durante alguns anos em meu trabalho diário. Isso me levou a fazer algo ainda mais especial para expressar minha gratidão. Achei que dois patinhos seriam perfeitos, feitos a partir de um molde que minha falecida avó me deu, e isso também reacendeu meu amor pelo tricô. Traz lembranças felizes da minha falecida avó que me ensinou, e eu realmente espero que seja algo que continue sendo transmitido de geração em geração.
Adaptar-se ao tricô é encontrar tempo, ou melhor, arranjar tempo, para um hobby que é gratificante de muitas maneiras. Adoro tricotar, mas gostaria de ter mais tempo para fazê-lo. Com três filhos (16, 12 e 8 anos) e um marido para cuidar (e limpar), além de um emprego de meio período, é difícil encaixar tudo. , mesmo para crianças mais velhas que estão começando. Mantê-los curtos também permite que sejam concluídos mais cedo e, quanto mais rápida a recompensa, maior a probabilidade de os juros continuarem.
Adoro explorar a natureza e passar tempo com a minha família, por isso estes são o foco dos meus designs. Espero que você também goste e tenha a alegria de presentear algo único e feito à mão para pessoas especiais!

My boss retired at the end of December 2017, who provided me with fantastic support and encouragement over a few years with my day job. This prompted me to make something extra special to express my gratitude. I thought two little ducks would be perfect, made from a pattern given to me by my late grandma, and this also reignited my love of knitting. It brings happy memories of my late grandma who taught me, and I really hope that it's something that does keep getting passed down the generations.
Fitting in Knitting is all about finding time, or more like it, making time, for a hobby that is rewarding in so many ways. I love knitting but I wish I had more time to do it. With three children (16, 12 and 8) and a husband to look after (and clean up after), as well as a part-time job, it is hard to fit it in. I made up some patterns that were simple to make, even for older children just starting out. Keeping them short also allows them to be finished sooner, and the quicker the reward, the more likely the interest will be kept going.
I love to explore nature and spending time with my family, and these are therefore the focus of my designs. I hope you enjoy them too and then get the joy of giving something unique and handmade to your special people!
