Flobosco ist das Künstlerphänomen des MECA&D-Absolventen Ren Fuchs. Als Künstler und Handwerker zielt Rens Arbeit darauf ab, die Grenzen zwischen Kunst und Handwerk zu verwischen, indem er Techniken und Ideologien aus beiden Bereichen nutzt. Ihre Arbeit nimmt die konzeptionelle Betonung und interpretative Natur der bildenden Kunst und kombiniert sie mit der somatischen Natur und den repetitiven Prozessen des Handwerks. Ein Großteil ihrer Arbeit konzentriert sich auf Prozess und Konstruktion, sowohl physisch als auch metaphorisch.
Flobosco is the artistic alias of MECA&D graduate, Ren Fuchs. As an artist, as well as a craftsman, Ren’s work aims to blur the lines between Art and Craft, utilizing techniques and ideologies of both areas. Their work takes the conceptual emphasis and interpretive nature of fine art and combines it with the somatic nature and repetitive processes of Craft. Much of their work focuses on process and construction, both physically and metaphorically.
