Il mio negozio vende tessuti vintage a pezze, non tagliati su misura. Ho moltissimi tessuti meravigliosi, in quantità variabili, che ho acquistato per usarli nella mia attività di cucito nel corso degli anni. Sono letteralmente a corto di tempo, ma i tessuti sono senza tempo. Spero che tu possa trovare qualcosa che ti piaccia e che tu possa usare qui.
Riciclo le buste postali, quindi non sorprenderti se ricevi un pacco di marca inaspettato! Inoltre, le spese di spedizione di 5 dollari si riferiscono al pacco, non al pezzo. Se acquisti 4,5 kg di stoffa, pagherò la differenza!
Aggiungerò nuovi pezzi di stoffa ogni giorno. Ce ne sono centinaia, tra cui metraggio, mezzo metro e quarti di tessuto per quilting. My shop sells vintage fabric by the piece, not by the yard. I have a great deal of wonderful cloth in varying amounts that was bought to use in my sewing businesses over many years. I am literally out of time, but the fabric is timeless. I hope that you find something to love and use here.
I recycle mailing envelopes so don't be surprised if you receive an unexpected name brand package! Also, the $5 shipping fee is for the package, not the piece. If you buy 10 pounds of cloth, I'll pay the difference!
I will be adding new pieces of cloth every day. There are hundreds more including yardage, half yards and fat quarters of quilting fabric.

Più stoffa di quanta ne potrei mai cucire...

Cucio da 65 anni. Dopo la scuola d'arte, ho lavorato nel distretto dell'abbigliamento di New York City, quando gli abiti venivano ancora disegnati, tagliati e cuciti negli Stati Uniti. Ho poi aperto diverse piccole attività di cucito su misura e di fiber art e ho studiato quanti più aspetti di quest'arte possibile: tessitura, tintura, pittura su seta, patchwork, restauro di quilt, costumi per la danza. Non sono mai uscita da un negozio di tessuti senza aver fatto un acquisto. Ora devo trovare una casa a tutto ciò che è rimasto.

I have been sewing for 65 years. After art school, I worked in New York City's garment district when clothing was still designed, cut and sewn in the US. I went on to have many small custom sewing and fiber art businesses and studied as many parts of the art form as I could: weaving, dyeing, silk painting, patchwork, quilt restoration, dance costuming. I never left a fabric store without a purchase. Now, I need to find homes for all that is left.
