Alcuni dei miei ricordi più belli sono della cucina di mia nonna, quando cuoceva e cucinava, oh i colori delle ciotole di miscelazione Pyrex, gli odori provenienti dal forno e infine il cibo. Mi lasciava sedere e guardare, e se ero brava mi ricompensava con i battitori del mixer, o un biscotto, o una fetta di pane fresco.
La vita era molto più semplice ma ancora più difficile. Nessuna torta o brownies davvero buona proveniva da una scatola, tutto era fatto con amore e tempo e molto lavoro. I preziosi strumenti di mia nonna l'hanno aiutata a creare i meravigliosi pasti che tutti avremmo mangiato. Che si tratti dei piatti in casseruola Pyrex o degli avanzi conservati nelle scatole del frigorifero Pyrex, tutti questi invocano grandi pensieri per me. Mia nonna era una delle persone più influenti della mia vita, e ogni volta che vedo, tocco, uso e ora vendo Pyrex non posso fare a meno di ripensare, anche ai bei vecchi tempi.
Si prega di essere consapevoli, tutto ciò che vendo è Vintage e usato, la maggior parte è stata utilizzata per oltre 35 anni un po 'di più. Il prezzo è a condizione e la rarità del pezzo o del colore o del modello. Nessuno anche il pezzo migliore è mai impeccabile, anche provenendo dalla fabbrica questi sono stati prodotti in serie e realizzati negli Stati Uniti per durare, ma sinceramente dubito che qualcuno avrebbe mai pensato che sarebbero diventati collezionabili. Sono stati fatti per durare come i valori che abbiamo escluso nei prodotti lo richiedevano, ma di nuovo prodotti in serie. Si prega di tenerlo a mente.
Some of my best memories are of my Grandmother's kitchen, when she was baking and cooking, oh the colors of the Pyrex Mixing Bowls, the smells coming from the oven, and finally the food. She used to let me sit and watch, and if I was good she would reward me with the beaters from the mixer, or a cookie, or a slice of fresh bread.
Life was a lot simpler but yet harder. No really good cake or brownies came from a box, everything was done with love and time and lots of work. My Grandmother's prized tools helped her create the wonderful meals we would all eat. Wether it was the Pyrex Casserole Dishes, or the left over's stored in the Pyrex Refrigerator Boxes, these all invoke great thoughts for me. My Grandmother was one of the most influential people in my life, and every time I see, touch, use, and now sell Pyrex I can't help but think back, too the good old days.
Please be aware, everything I sell is Vintage and pre owned, most has been used for upwards of 35 years some even more. I price on condition and the rarity of the piece or color, or pattern. None even the best piece is ever flawless, even coming from the factory these were mass produced and made in the USA to last, but I sincerely doubt anyone would ever have thought they would become collectible. They were made to endure as the values we excepted in products demanded it, but again mass produced. Please keep that in mind.
