A Lineage of Handmade Comfort
Every piece we make begins long before it reaches your hands — in the narrow lanes of Jaipur, where block-printing has been practiced for generations, passed from father to son, mother to daughter, one wooden block at a time.
We grew up watching this craft up close. The rhythmic tap of hand-carved blocks meeting cotton fabric, the careful mixing of natural dyes, the patience it takes to print a single motif again and again until it becomes a pattern — and eventually, a piece of clothing someone, somewhere, will wear close to their skin. It never stopped feeling like magic to us.
The Cotton Lineage was born from a simple wish: to make sure this craft doesn't fade into machines and mass production. To give the artisans who've perfected this art over decades — sometimes centuries — a way to reach homes far beyond Jaipur, while still being paid and valued for the skill they carry.
So when you slip into one of our robes on a quiet morning, or wrap yourself in a pajama set at the end of a long day, you're not just wearing cotton. You're wearing someone's inheritance — a technique taught by a grandfather, refined by a father, and now carried forward by hands that still believe slow, honest work is worth protecting.
We make small batches, not because we can't scale, but because we won't rush what takes time to do right. Every slight imperfection, every subtle variation in print, is proof that a real person — not a machine — made this for you.
This is our story. We hope, in some small way, it becomes part of yours too.
