Teacher on the week days and a stained glass artist on the weekends!

I am a teacher who loves using her free time to create beautiful stained glass pieces! Who would have thought that breaking, grinding, copper foiling, and soldering glass would be a great way to relieve the stress of teaching teenagers for eight hours a day?! Most of my stained glass pieces have a geeky influence to them, but I am always eager to make new, beautiful pieces!

I make my stained glass pieces using the traditional copper foil technique. This involves me cutting each piece of glass to the shape, grinding down the edges, wrapping the edges of each of those pieces in copper foil, and using that copper foil as a way for the solder to adhere to the glass.

I love taking custom work! Please feel free to message me about any specific designs that you have in mind! Pricing for custom pieces are based on the design, size, and complexity of the piece.
