Three Treasures Studio nasce da una vita che non si lascia incasellare in categorie precise, ed è proprio questo il punto.

Siamo un gruppo di persone che non si sentivano a proprio agio altrove, unite da uno scopo comune e dalla profonda convinzione dell'importanza di accogliere le persone per quello che sono. Insieme, siamo genitori di sei figli straordinari, ognuno con i propri punti di forza, le proprie difficoltà e il proprio modo di vedere il mondo. La nostra casa abbraccia l'intero spettro della neurodivergenza: dall'autismo non verbale a menti profondamente dotate che frequentano corsi universitari a soli dieci anni, e tutto ciò che sta in mezzo. Le etichette non riescono mai a cogliere appieno chi sono, e abbiamo imparato che la cosa più importante che possiamo offrire loro non è una scatola in cui incasellarsi, ma uno spazio in cui prosperare.

Ognuno di noi percorre un cammino diverso verso questa missione comune:

Jessica lavora in una scuola alternativa, affiancando i giovani a rischio e aiutandoli a trovare il loro posto in un mondo che spesso li ignora. Lei vede del potenziale dove gli altri vedono solo problemi.

Katie sta conseguendo un dottorato di ricerca in storia, con titoli di studio avanzati sia in sanità pubblica che in storia. La sua passione è aiutare le persone, soprattutto i bambini neurodivergenti, a orientarsi in sistemi che non sono stati progettati per loro e a trovare fiducia in se stessi.

Anthony è un veterano dei Marines che ha prestato servizio in Iraq e in seguito ha intrapreso una carriera come ingegnere del software, lavorando in svariati contesti, dalle startup alla Silicon Valley. Il suo percorso è un connubio di disciplina, resilienza e creatività, qualità che influenzano tutto ciò che facciamo.

Ciò che ci unisce è semplice: crediamo nei "giocattoli fuori dagli schemi". Nei bambini che non si conformano. Nelle famiglie che non assomigliano a tutte le altre. Nelle persone a cui spesso viene detto che sono "troppo" o "non abbastanza".

Ci piace dire che viviamo sull'Isola dei Giocattoli Dimenticati e ci siamo posti come missione quella di collezionarli.

Three Treasures Studio è nato da un periodo di grandi cambiamenti: lutti familiari, divorzi, perdita del lavoro e tutto ciò che ti costringe a fermarti e a chiederti: "Cosa conta davvero?". La nostra risposta è stata chiara: le persone. Soprattutto quelle che vengono trascurate.

Questo negozio è molto più di un semplice punto vendita di prodotti. È un passo verso qualcosa di più grande. Il nostro obiettivo è far crescere Three Treasures Studio fino a diventare un'attività che crei opportunità per le persone neurodivergenti, persone spesso sottovalutate ma profondamente capaci. Inoltre, destiniamo una parte dei nostri profitti a cause che ci stanno a cuore, tra cui il supporto alle persone con autismo, iniziative per la salute mentale e risorse per i giovani senzatetto e a rischio.

Non siamo una famiglia perfetta. Non siamo una famiglia tipica.
Ma noi siamo una famiglia che sceglie di essere presente, con compassione, resilienza e determinazione.

Three Treasures Studio was born from a life that doesn’t fit neatly into categories—and that’s exactly the point.

We are a collection of people who didn’t quite fit elsewhere, brought together by shared purpose and a deep belief in meeting people where they are. Between us, we are parents to six incredible children, each with their own strengths, challenges, and ways of seeing the world. Our home spans the full spectrum of neurodivergence—from non-verbal autism to profoundly gifted minds taking college classes at age ten, and everything in between. Labels never quite capture who they are, and we’ve learned that the most important thing we can offer them isn’t a box to fit into—it’s space to thrive.

Each of us brings a different path to this shared mission:

Jessica works in an alternative school, walking alongside at-risk youth and helping them find their footing in a world that often overlooks them. She sees potential where others see problems.

Katie is pursuing her PhD in history, with advanced degrees in both public health and history. Her passion is helping people—especially neurodivergent kids—navigate systems that weren’t designed for them, and find confidence in who they are.

Anthony is a Marine combat veteran who served in Iraq and later built a career as a software engineer, working everywhere from startups to Silicon Valley. His journey bridges discipline, resilience, and creativity in ways that shape everything we do.

What ties us together is simple: we believe in the “misfit toys.” The kids who don’t fit the mold. The families who don’t look like everyone else. The people who are often told they are “too much” or “not enough.”

We like to say we live on the Island of Misfit Toys—and we’ve made it our mission to collect them.

Three Treasures Studio came out of a season of hard resets—family loss, divorce, job loss, and the kind of life events that force you to step back and ask, What really matters? Our answer was clear: people. Especially the ones who get overlooked.

This shop is more than products. It’s a step toward something bigger. Our goal is to grow Three Treasures Studio into a business that creates opportunities for neurodivergent individuals—people who are often underestimated but deeply capable. We also commit a portion of our proceeds to causes close to our hearts, including autism support, mental health initiatives, and resources for homeless and at-risk youth.

We are not a perfect family. We are not a typical family.
But we are a family that chooses to show up—with compassion, resilience, and purpose.
