Esta tienda comenzó con un problema simple, aunque un poco persistente: buscaba constantemente cosas que deberían existir y descubría que no existían.

No todas eran cosas exóticas. Eran cosas comunes, hechas exactamente como yo las quería, con ese detalle que las habría hecho realmente útiles. Lo suficientemente parecido estaba por todas partes. Lo perfecto, en ninguna.

Así que empecé a fabricarlas yo misma. Esa es la idea principal de What I Like Designs: creo la versión que no pude comprar y la publico aquí por si alguien más busca lo mismo.

Cada diseño aquí presente lo especifico yo, línea por línea, y luego lo reconstruyo hasta que quede correcto.

This shop started with a simple, slightly stubborn problem: I kept looking for things that should exist and finding out they didn't.

Not all exotic things. Ordinary ones, made the specific way I wanted them, with the one detail that would have made them actually useful. Close enough was everywhere. Right was nowhere.

So I started making them myself. That's the whole idea behind What I Like Designs — I make the version I couldn't buy, and then I put it here in case someone else was looking for the same thing.

Every layout here is specified by me, line by line, and then rebuilt until it's right.
