Learn how to make chesterfield sofa or chair of any sizes:

1) Timber 45х50 or 35х40 mm. – 18 linear meter
2) Plywood 10 mm. – 2 sh.
3) Foam with density 22:
4) 50 mm – 4 sh.
5) 40 mm – 3 sh.
6) 30 mm – 2 sh.

When the thickness of the seats is more than 18 cm you need more foam, as situations demanded. For our length it is possible to have over-measure.

7) Fabric - 10 linear meters (depending on the size of the sofa).
8) Buttons 120 - 160 pcs. (Depending on the size of the sofa and the number of rows). Diameter to your mind. I use 19 mm. Buttons number - 32.
9) Sintepon / batting with a thickness of 200 to 400 gr. / 1 m (can be omitted).
10) Screws 80mm. - 200 pieces, 55 mm.. - 20 pcs. (For attaching the bottom cover plates).
11) PVA adhesive for the frame (optional).
12) Fibreboards 1 sh., or plywood 4 мм.and more for the side covers.
13) Thread (nylon / polyester), as thin as possible and stronger.
14) Elastic / carcass band.
15) Spunbond/ Vlieseline– 5-6 linear meters..
16) Staples 8-10 mm. and 17-20 mm. - One package.
17) Furniture adhesive 1 liter + remover
18) Furniture Bolts - 29 Pieces + nuts + washers (for the side covers and the front plate).
19) Decorative nails (on your discretion). Also, you can fix the side covers without using of bolts.

1) Screw gun or drill + bits and borers.
2) Jig saw + jig saw blades
3) Stapler (Air\ Electrical )
4) Spray for glue.
5) Staple remover (very important tool) can be replaced by a flat screwdriver, but it is a very extreme case.
6) Needle (from 80 mm and more).
7) Tape-measure
8) A sewing machine (you can use the services of any sewing studio - inexpensive and high quality).
9) Sharp scissors.
10) A sharp knife for cutting foam (ribby kitchen knife).
11) The ruler for marking and cutting foam (2 meters length), and for cutting fabric.
12) Set of multicolored markers for marking (thick and thin).
13) Button-press + frame for pressing buttons ( or ready buttons).
14) The tubular nozzle on a drill for drilling foam (or crown, metal. Details are in the video course).
