Miniature embroidered birds.

Embroidery was always something full of magic and luxury for me. If you will take a look at the clothes collection in museums you will find gorgeous dresses embroidered with silk or golden threads. Embroidery traditions are going back to centuries ago. Many nations were using embroidered pieces for the most sacred costumes in their life. To make the textile embroidery more valuable they were adding glass beads, metal and stones. There are also silk lace flowers and lace embroidery pieces. After I’ve tried beads and stones embroidery I felt like the pieces are coming out too heavy what makes me want to use them much more rarely. After I’ve tried silk lace embroidery I felt like the jewelry looks more girlish and sweet what does not correspond to my own style. When I’ve learnt embroidery I understood that flat and monotone texture is not for me either. The magic began after I combined last two embroidery techniques to make bird brooches and first two for making headbands. Now I know what is my style and this is the way I feel beauty. The most amazing thing is that there will be more experiments in future.

My mum was working in private atelier when I was in school. Now she is working in theatre atelier which is of course more exciting:) I was inspired by my mum and her surroundings to start making my own things. First serious piece was pink cotton crochet bag with a lot of beaded crocheted flowers (it's sill in my private collection). After that i made smaller and medium sized bags which were sold quite fast. I started combining different techniques and trying to make something special and uncommon. Now my things are in private collections in different countries. Most of them in Russia (my motherland), some in Finland, Austria, Germany, Spain, Jordan.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

I am creating items with personalized changes like color or even type of bird. Currently, I am not making animals like dogs or horses.
If you want to have a ring or pendant instead of a brooch - I can make a custom item for you.
Contact me if you have any questions about your custom item.

Sizing details

The smallest brooches I make are 0.7 to 3 cm. The largest so far is 7 to 12 cm. I like very detailed small lightweight brooches which do not become a heavy duty while wearing;)

Gift wrapping and packaging

I am packing tiny pins with a handmade card in a plastic envelope. If there is more than one tiny pin - they are packed like brooches in a craft box with my logo. Size of this box is 8*10*2 cm.
There is a possibility to pack in wooden boxes if you prefer that. The wooden box cost more than the craft one and you can contact me for the details if you are interested. Generally, I have couple options of wooden boxes available.
